I cannot believe that I spent years not knowing about this location. Repeatedly. Unfortunately, the tornado a few years back did a lot of damage but it's still very beautiful.
Such a beautiful place in a nestled away location. It is still very viable the massive damage done by the tornado that ripped through West Liberty but doesn't impact the beauty of the area.
What a great little park! There's some hiking trails, a waterfall and some picnic tables. The place was devastated by a tornado a few years back (from what I understand) so it's not without a few issues but you can't make mother nature do what you want. Despite the several downed trees and needing to get back to 100% it's still worth the stop if you're in the area and you enjoy being outdoors.
Absolutely breathtaking if you walk to the bottom.
